🌍 Happy Healthy Holiday Camp: A Week of Fun & Learning!
This week at the Happy Healthy Holiday Camp, we focused on the environment, engaging the children in a series of exciting, hands-on activities designed to spark their creativity and awareness of the world around them.
Day 1: Ocean Awareness & Creative Crafts
The first day kicked off with an exciting exploration of oceans and marine life. The children were introduced to the topic through fun craft activities. They created turtles using card and bubble wrap and then moved on to making sticky dot pictures to bring their ocean scenes to life. The creative fun continued as they made origami boats, and after crafting, they had a fantastic time racing the boats in a fun-filled boat race!
Day 2: Creativity & Physical Activity
On Day 2, we balanced creative activities with physical fun. The children engaged in various hands-on crafts, continuing the environmental theme, while also getting active with games that encouraged teamwork and physical exercise. It was a day full of energy, imagination, and plenty of laughter!
Day 3: Trip to the National Science and Media Museum
On Day 3, the children enjoyed an exciting trip to the National Science and Media Museum in Bradford. It was a fantastic learning experience, where they explored the interactive exhibits, learned about the history of science and media, and had a blast discovering new things in a fun and engaging way!
Day 4: Keeping Active & Fun Games
The final day of Week 2 was all about staying active and enjoying the beautiful weather! With the sun shining, the children took part in a variety of fun games and outdoor activities, making the most of the great day. It was a perfect way to wrap up the week with lots of laughter, movement, and excitement, ensuring everyone left with great memories!
Looking Forward to Week 3:
We’ve had an amazing Week 2 filled with creativity, learning, and fun. The children have truly embraced the activities, from crafting and physical challenges to exploring new places. We can't wait to see what next week holds!
